Ok...I realize I have been gone for ever....
This first year in the library has been so overwhelming! I have been crazy busy organizing, shelving, weeding and creating lessons (looking on Pinterest and using other people's great ideas.)
My first graders have been working on seqencing stories and cause and effect.
2nd grade is working on cause and effect also with a very cute character Camilia Cream.
3rd grade is learing all about author's purpose.
4th and 5th grade are learning about timelines, Caldecott books and making Dewey Words clouds using Tagxedo.
I have been using the wonderful website GoodReads and charting what I have been reading lately. I can't wait to see how many books I read this first month of 2013.
